you find the Pilanesberg National Park that offers a safe haven to a
multitude of wildlife species and which offers viewing of the
Big 5 in a malaria free environment. It is a monument to one of the
biggest ever wildlife restocking programmes known on the African
continent and started off with the introduction of some young (and
spoilt) elephants.
Today there are excellent game lodges within the paark that offer a variety of accommodation levels starting at caravan camping grounds.
