Day 1
|
Transfer from
Jhb to Sun City complex.
Arrive around 10AM and tour the
complex or play a round of golf at the Gary Player Country Club. (not
included) or sun yourself at the beach of the Valley of the Waves.
(Overnight)

Day 2
|
Early morning
game drive to adjacent Pilanesberg National Park. After
breakfast we hit the road to the Mpumalanga region. Reach
the Long Tom Pass and overnight
at the Long Tom Guest House in Lydenburg.(Or similar)

Day 3
|
Tour the Blyde River Canyon, Long Tom Pass, Sabie,
Bourke's Luck Potholes, Mac-Mac Falls, Pilgrim's
Rest, God's Window and Three Rondawels before entering Kruger Park. Book into
Skukuza and join the afternoon game drive.

Day 4 & 5
|
After an early
morning game drive, return to Skukuza for breakfast. Transfer to a private reserve for the next 2 days on a full board basis.
Includes morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 6
|
Transfer to Swaziland and overnight
at Manzini.
|
|
Day 7 & 8
|
Travel to
Bergville and the Royal Natal National Park and stay in
the Montusi Mountain Lodge one of the most luxurious in the area.
Explore the Drakensberg region, go hiking, enjoy the fresh air and
relax.

Day 9
|
Early morning
air transfer to Port Elizabeth for the start
of the trip down the Garden route. After visiting the Featherbed
Reserve, overnight in Knysna.

|
Day 10
|
Travel to
Oudtshoorn for a visit to the world famous Cango caves, visit a
crocodile farm and check out an ostrich farm where you may even ride
one of these huge birds. Overnight
|
|
Day 11
|
Visit historic
buildings before going up Table Mountain with the cable
car in the afternoon. Return from the mountain in early evening and
after dinner drive along the mountain for the spectacular night view of
Cape Town shimmering in
millions of bright lights or relax.

Day 12
|
Visit the
V&A Waterfront before taking a trip to Robben Island where Mandela
and several other activists were incarcerated for 14 years. Tour the
island under guidance of former inmates who relate there experiences on
the island
|
|
Day 13
|
Take the scenic
route around the Peninsula to Cape Point
visiting quant fishing villages along the route. Lunch at Cape Point
and then return to Cape Town via Simonstown
& Muizenberg
|
|
Day 14
|
Take a tour
through the winelands and do some wine tasting at several of the
estates. Visit the famous Bergkelder in Stellenbosch. Travel via
Somerset West and the Strand to Cape Town where the tour
ends
